Pauline has worked in the arts and skills sector since 1983 and is currently a trustee of Roundhouse London, Voluntary Arts and the Masterclass TRH Trust.

About Pauline

I was lucky to have been introduced to music, theatre, dance and the visual arts through in my school years. At secondary school I benefited from free music lessons and took part in choirs, chamber groups, drama and the school orchestra. Through teacher training and while teaching I learned about the importance of the arts in education and saw children’s lives changed through the confidence and agency that taking part gave them.

Through my involvement with the Roundhouse, Voluntary Arts and the Theatre Royal Haymarket Masterclass Trust I see how participation in creative activities and finding one’s voice is still important to young people and adults.
